Provider: Routes to Work- South Lanarkshire
Using this programme Routes to Work South will regularly run short courses for workless people in South Lanarkshire. The courses are aimed at people who want to work in the construction industry.They will run till end March 2010.
The training will cover skills such as Plastering, Tiling, Groundworks, Joinery, Bricklaying and Rail.
Routes to Work South also run one day CSCS (construction Skills Certification Scheme) courses covering site health and safety - the CSCS card is now required to get on almost any site.
