Coatbridge College

Coatbridge College, now in its second century, was formerly Lanarkshire's centre of excellence for mining, science, technology and mechanical engineering. With the demise of the country's heavy industries, the range of provisions at Coatbridge has changed dramatically to meet the requirements of students and employers. Coatbridge has become primarily a community college - serving the people of North Lanarkshire by providing a broad range of entry level programmes, and beyond that, a number of carefully created higher level courses in areas of acknowledged expertise.
