Motherwell College

In August the new Motherwell College will open its doors to students for the very first time. You could be one of the first to enjoy the facilities of the brand new “state of the art” building at Ravenscraig.

Designed for 21st century learning, with its state-of-the-art modern technology classrooms, workshops, seminar rooms, theatre and catering facilities, the new £70m building will change the face of learning in Lanarkshire.

As Lanarkshire’s leading College we are committed to seeing every one of our students reach their full potential. The new College will be responsive to the way you learn and will ensure learning is accessible to all.

The building has been designed to account for the needs of all students resulting in a facility that encourages access and integration - today’s students have diverse abilities and come from all walks of life. They hold new expectations for learning.

You will see we have a very wide range of subjects - something for everyone. If your ambition is to go to university, we have excellent links, often into the upper years of degree programmes. If you want to come to College to build your confidence and take the first steps into further education, we have much to offer you.

The College is situated on Enterprise Way in the Ravenscraig area with free on-site parking. For Satellite Navigation Units use our Postcode - ML1 2TX.

By Train
The College is a short walk from Shieldmuir railway station and there are bus links available from Motherwell Train Station.
By Bus
